Long time friends and Maui industry men have turned business partners at Honu Oceanside. Each brings their own unique set of backgrounds and skills to the table, passionately building a team and creating vibes that are transforming our oceanfront Lahaina eatery into the best restaurant on Maui.
THE EXECUTIVE TEAM
Pam Elkind
General Manager
26 plus years in the industry
Living in Maui since she moved from Southern California in 2015, Pam has been in the hospitality industry since she was 16 years old. Starting at Honu Oceanside in December of 2020, she took the role of General Manager in June of 2022. In additional to hospitality her resume includes a plethora of eclectic jobs, including an instructor at CSUF, medical biller, accounts receivable representative, administrator assistant, personal trainer, and private chef. Her newest venture is learning about wine as she studies for her Sommelier Certificate.
Arnulfo Gonzalez "Arnie"
Executive Chef
32 plus years in the industry
A Mexico native, born in Tepatitlan Jalisco, Arnie lived in Southern California before moving to Maui in 1992. Working at Lahaina Grill from his early days in Maui, he assumed the role of Executive Chef at this prestigious Lahaina restaurant for 27 years. When he is not commanding the kitchen, he is spending time with his wife and 12 year old son. Arnie's oldest son is 28 years old and gave him his first grandson four years ago.
Annabehl Sinclair-Delaney
Mixologist
30 plus years in the industry
A New Zealand native, moved to the U.S in the 90’s with a dream to cook her way around the world. Armed with a chefs knife, notebook and catalogue of kiwi slang she ended up on Maui and spent the last 25 years at Lahaina Grill, first as a chef then as a bartender.
In her downtime, while attempting to keep her plants alive, she runs a youth theatre program with Theatre Theatre Maui and creates cocktail kits for her brand Slight Detour Maui. Excited to join the team at Honu her goal is to create a unique craft cocktail experience and welcome friends old and new to the bar dining experience.
