We want to make sure when we open, that the floor staff will be able to make enough money to be their rent etc. Chef Nick and Chef Sergio and I are redoing our menus. You will see us keeping our signature dishes, but we are creating new menus for both restaurants. We are creating more comfort style food. But exciting. We are very excited about the new menus. They will be more value-driven.
So, Honu Seafood & Pizza & Frida's Mexican Beach House look forward to a fresh reopening. Judy, Michelle, Ariana, Gerry, and myself thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are all going through unprecedented times. It has been very stressful for our community, but I have never been so happy to be living in Hawaii. We all are very lucky. During this pandemic closure, we have been busy painting, polishing, and deep cleaning. Ariana and Michelle and my wife Judy have been relooking at the dining rooms and are making changes. We cannot wait to reopen. I miss working, I miss our customers and I miss our hard-working employees. Frida's and Honu employees are the souls of our little restaurants.
We are looking to open both restaurants sometime late July or early August. We need the hotels open, with about 40 or 50% occupancy.

A quintessential seafood eatery that has a fully unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean with 10 feet from the waters edge.
Mark and Judy believe that the turtles that swim in front of our restaurants are very special and spiritual creatures.
